About Somatic Yin Yoga
The Somatic Yin Yoga Teacher Training combines the calm, deep practice of Yin Yoga with somatic approaches that focus on body awareness, nervous system regulation and inner experience.

Immerse yourself in the quiet, healing world of Yin Yoga and discover the power of somatic practice. In this training course, we combine traditional Yin postures with modern insights from somatic bodywork. The focus is not on outward perfection, but on consciously sensing, experiencing and understanding your body from the inside out.
Somatic Yin Yoga invites you to slow down, release tension and bring lasting balance to your nervous system. Through mindful movements, subtle awareness exercises and poses held for an extended period, space is created for regeneration, self-reflection and deep relaxation.
The Somatic Yin practice brings you into deeper contact with your body and breath, inviting you to tune into your inner self. We can let ourselves sink deeply into our bodies, perhaps losing ourselves a little in the process, and sense something that goes beyond what we already know.
You will learn to create spaces where people feel safe, can let go, and reconnect with their own body intelligence. At the same time, you will deepen your own practice and develop a more refined sense of yourself.

Course Structure
The course is suitable for all yoga practitioners, body therapists and yoga teachers and is divided into 3 modules.
The Somatic Yin Yoga Teacher Training is an 11-day residential course. All three modules are included in this training, and each module builds on the previous one.
Module 1: Yin Yoga Foundation Training
In the first days of the training, you will gain the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to teach a Yin Yoga class incorporating all 35 Yin Yoga asanas and variations.
Module 2: Introduction to TCM, Meridians & the 5 Elements
In the second part of the training, we delve deeper into the energetic effects of Yin Yoga and the mysterious world of fascia.
We will build on the anatomical knowledge gained in the first part through both theory and practice. Basic knowledge of TCM, meridians, the Five Elements and the flow of Qi
Module 3: Somatic Yin Yoga, Myofascial Release & Yintelligence
In the third part of the training, we combine traditional Yin postures with modern insights from somatic bodywork. We deliberately set aside plenty of time for the yoga practice. The whole body is massaged, mobilised and stretched, and the nervous system is regulated
