RETREAT IN bali
7-day Yoga Retreat in Ubud, Bali
It´s all about balance
From movement to stillness. The dance in between letting go and doing.
Step away from the rush of everyday life and immerse yourself in a Retreat experience designed for renewal and transformation, creating time to pause and just be.
Bali is one of the most healing places on earth if you come with the right intention.
I have never experienced such devotion and love from a place before. The land and the people hold a lot of wisdom, and what makes this island so special is the culture.
Bali feels magical because it’s not just beautiful—it’s meaningful. It engages your senses, your emotions, and often your inner life all at once.
Our Location: Tegal Sari Hotel, Ubud
A peaceful rice field hotel with authentic Bali vibe
Ubud is often called the “spiritual heart of Bali”—and honestly, that’s not just marketing. It’s one of the few places where yoga, nature, ritual, and daily life all blend together.
Our hotel resort is located right in the heart of Ubud, Gianyar, Bali. Despite its central location opposite the Monkey Forest, it is very tranquil and peaceful here. The resort is nestled in a tropical garden surrounded by rice fields, and every room offers views of the lush greenery. At dawn and dusk, you can listen to the countless sounds of crickets, frogs, birds and squirrels creating a serene atmosphere.
The Resort offers two swimming pools, a rooftop Yoga Shala, an outdoor Gym, Massage facilities and a Restaurant.
There will be 3 different room categories available Superior Room, Deluxe Wooden Room and Superior Deluxe Room.
The beautiful and cozy rooms come with a queen size bed or two single beds and are individually decorated.
They have a Fan, Air Conditioning and Terrace or Balcony and come with all modern amenities.
Our Activities and Schedule:
We will practice Yoga twice a day in a beautiful Roof top Yoga Shala which is fully equipped with mats, bolsters, blocks, belts and all we need.
Morning practice 7.30 to 9.30am
Afternoon practice 4.30 to 6.00pm
Morning practice: We start the day with meditation and different breathing techniques. Followed by an energising yoga practice, creative and flowing with the breath. Detoxifying practice building strength and flexibility. Lymphatic system activation
Afterwards there is time for sharing and we enjoy an extensive breakfast/brunch buffet in the beautiful Restaurant overlooking the rice paddies.
After the brunch there is free time, me-time 😊
Time for Massage treatments, swimming or reading by the pool.
Many tourist attractions are just a few minutes away like Monkey Forest, Ubud Temple, Art market and the local market. There are lots of great shops around the corner just waiting to be discovered like handmade crafts, boho fashion and art.
We will meet back in the Yoga Shale in the late afternoon
Afternoon practice is slow, meditative and deep opening Yin Yoga, Myofascia Release and Yintelligence (Somatic Yin) to calm the nervous system and prepare the body for restful sleep
Dinner
We usually meet up for dinner at the Garden Kafe. Garden Kafe is located in the heart of Yoga Barn oasis. This tranquil open-air café offers amazing healthy and very tasty food. It overlooks the central amphitheatre, surrounded by tropical treetops and gardens. It is the perfect spot to enjoy a fresh young coconut, slow down and unwind, meet new friends and let your latest experiences seep in.
Healing Food, Slow Rhythm, Open Hearts.
On two evenings we’ll be popping round the corner to various other lovely restaurants.
Ubud is a food lover’s paradise😊– it’s one of the best places in the world for clean, plant-based eating thanks to its yoga/wellness culture and abundance of fresh local ingredients.
Yoga Barn is one of my favourite places in Ubud.
It’s more like a spiritual hub or “tribe” space than a normal Yoga studio.
Come and explore this magical place throughout the day or for an evening Event like Kirtan, Ecstatic dance, Sound Healing and so much more
